Well, I should have put an update about Week 1, but I left early and never got the full report of how everything went down. However, Julie Respress, who plays with us once in a while got on a hot streak and knocked out a bunch of people.... ending up on top with the win.
I did stay until the end of the Week 2 game.... literally, tehe.... ;-) Early at the final table I had a pretty commanding chip lead, but after it came down to myself, Ronnie and Kevin Williams, they whittled it down pretty good... where I was actually short stack a couple times. The chip stacks went back and forth for quite a while, but Ronnie and Kevin both went all in and I called and got lucky.... Ronnie had pocket sixes, Kevin had pocket kings, and I had A 5 of spades. Ronnie hit another 6 for a set on the flop, but I hit a spade on the river for a flush.... and knocked them both out for the win.
All in all, a very fun night of poker. We are still missing a few of the regulars, such as Twig.... but we had a few new faces, and the group was up a little bit from Week 1.

Hi Everyone....
This will be a Blog to let you know what's happening in the Alabama Wing House Poker League. Instead of sending out emails with the results for the evenings, etc. I'm going to post it here and then I'll send out links.
That way, you can still jump in here to check it even if you don't get the email. I'll also post other info in here. Also, feel free to post in the comments sections.
Our new Summer League season is going to start May 13, Thursday evening! We'll start playing around 6:30pm. I'm ready!!! This will be the 4th league season we've had and I'm VERY glad that Ronnie is still excited about letting us do this at his restaurant. Let's pay him back by eating lots of 35c Boneless Wings on the nights we're there and also by eating there through-out the week when we get the chance...
And again, let's everyone remember to pay our bill at the end of the night.... it'll save a lot a hassle for the waitresses.
Let's HAVE SOME FUN AND PLAY SOME POKER!!!!
