Well, I should have put an update about Week 1, but I left early and never got the full report of how everything went down. However, Julie Respress, who plays with us once in a while got on a hot streak and knocked out a bunch of people.... ending up on top with the win.
I did stay until the end of the Week 2 game.... literally, tehe.... ;-) Early at the final table I had a pretty commanding chip lead, but after it came down to myself, Ronnie and Kevin Williams, they whittled it down pretty good... where I was actually short stack a couple times. The chip stacks went back and forth for quite a while, but Ronnie and Kevin both went all in and I called and got lucky.... Ronnie had pocket sixes, Kevin had pocket kings, and I had A 5 of spades. Ronnie hit another 6 for a set on the flop, but I hit a spade on the river for a flush.... and knocked them both out for the win.
All in all, a very fun night of poker. We are still missing a few of the regulars, such as Twig.... but we had a few new faces, and the group was up a little bit from Week 1.
